Album Settings

- Accessed by right-clicking Edit Piwigo Album or Edit Piwigo Album (Set for sub-albums) or Edit Piwigo Album (Smart Collection) in the Publish Sevices panel.
- Album descriptions can be synchronised between Lightroom Classic (LrC) and Piwigo.
- Caution If descriptions with complex formatting are used on your Piwigo installation then it is recommended not to enable this option.
- When enabled,
- album descriptions will be imported from Piwigo if the will include
- the Album Description set in the Edit Piwigo album or Edit Piwigo album (Set for sub-albums) will be set on the corresponding Piwigo album. -- HTML formatting is preserved.
- Imported descriptions are plain text - so use with caution if albums on Piwigo have complex descriptions.

- When checked, the album status is set to private in Piwigo. Unchecking sets the album status to public.
- When setting an album set with sub albums to private, be aware that all sub albums in that set structure will inherit the private status of the parent album set on the Piwigo Host. Note This inheritance of the private status is not reflected in the status of sub albums within the Publish Service - they will be unchanged and therefore possibly inconsistent with the Piwigo host. Re-running the Import Albums option will update the status to reflect the settings on Piwigo.
- If the parent album is then reset back to public, all sub albums will remain private on the Piwigo host and would have to be set back to public individually if required. This behaviour is consistent with the default operation of Piwigo.
- This can be done directly on the Piwigo host, or by editing each sub album in the Publish Service - Note as stated above, sub albums may not show the correct status unless the Import Albums option was re-run, but as long as the album settings are saved with the Private flag unchecked then the status will be set to public on the Piwigo host.
