Warning
MCP servers can create security and privacy risks even when you do not use them with sensitive data. Depending on how they are built and configured, they may read data from your AI tool, workspace, or local machine, send data to third-party services, change files, run commands, or expose your device to additional attack surfaces. Even a server that runs only on your own computer can still pose a serious risk to that computer. Only use MCP servers that you understand and trust, and review their code, permissions, operator, and deployment setup before enabling them.
