This application is a complete platform designed to showcase secure and advanced solutions in AI, data science, and embedded systems. It uses FreeBSD as the operating system base and focuses on real-world industrial environments. The platform includes tools for AI model deployment, machine learning operations (MLOps), and security testing. It works on ARM64 architectures and supports automation in automotive and industrial use cases.
You do not need prior programming skills to use this software. It comes ready to run on Windows through a simple setup process.
To run this software smoothly on your Windows computer, make sure your system meets these basic requirements:
- Operating System: Windows 10 or later (64-bit)
- Processor: Intel i5 or equivalent AMD (64-bit capable)
- RAM: 8 GB minimum (16 GB recommended)
- Disk Space: 10 GB free space for installation
- Virtualization: Enabled in BIOS (required for running ARM64 simulations)
- Internet: Required for downloading and some platform features
This section will help you download and launch the software on your Windows machine in easy steps. Follow these instructions carefully.
-
Click the big green button below. It will take you to the platform’s official GitHub repository where you can get the latest version.
-
Once on the page, look for the Releases section on the right side or scroll down the repository home. Select the latest release by date.
-
Under the latest release, find the Windows installer file. It might look like this:
freebsd-industrial-edge-ai-secure-device-setup.exe. -
Click the file to download it. The file size may vary but expect around 500 MB.
-
After downloads finish, go to your download folder.
-
Double-click the installer file (
freebsd-industrial-edge-ai-secure-device-setup.exe). -
Allow the app to make changes if prompted by Windows.
-
The setup wizard will open. Click Next to continue through the steps.
-
Choose the installation folder or leave the default.
-
Click Install and wait for the process to complete.
-
Once finished, click Finish to close the wizard.
-
Find the shortcut icon on your desktop or in the Start Menu called freebsd-industrial-edge-ai-secure-device.
-
Double-click the icon to open the platform.
-
The main window will show different modules: AI models, security tools, automation tasks, and data science dashboards.
-
You can navigate these modules by clicking the tabs or menu items.
-
AI Model Deployment
Load and run AI models on simulated ARM64 hardware using the built-in QEMU emulator. No extra configuration required. -
Machine Learning Pipeline
Manage your data processing and model training pipelines clearly and step-by-step. -
Security Testing (Red Team Tools)
Use the integrated Red Team environment to check embedded security scenarios, testing defense and vulnerabilities. -
Automation and Data Science
Automate data collection and analysis relevant to automotive and industrial systems. -
Monitoring and Logs
Access real-time logs and monitoring dashboards to understand system behavior and troubleshoot.
Inside the app, you can access settings from the gear icon at the top right. Here you can:
- Select the hardware profile to emulate different ARM64 devices.
- Adjust network settings and proxies if needed.
- Enable or disable automatic updates.
- Set log file locations and verbosity.
If the app does not start:
- Verify your Windows version is 64-bit and updated.
- Open Task Manager and check no conflicting virtualization software is blocking QEMU.
- Reboot your machine and try again.
- Temporarily disable antivirus software that might block the installer or the app.
If you see errors during AI model running or security tests, check the logs from the Monitoring and Logs menu. This will point to detailed issues.
This platform is open-source and distributed under the BSD license. You can find the license file in the repository.
