📝 Blog Post — The Constellation

Hook: Most mid-market replatforms scope the platform migration and treat the integration map as an appendix, then act surprised when the integrations consume the timeline.

Angle: The pattern is consistent: the estimate for platform work holds, but the integration work between systems blows up because nobody scoped the seams with the same rigor as the core build. The fix is not better estimation. The fix is treating the integration map as the spine of the project plan, not an attachment to it.

Source material: Baseline: 'It is not the platform decision. It is the integration map.' and 'The estimate that survives first contact with the integration map is rare.' Delta 2026-04-26: 'Estimate compression and integration gaps slow delivery.' Rolling view: 'Discovery centers on custom integration modules and multi-platform suite design.' Cross-cutting: polyglot integration engagements as the new default.
