We often used FileNew on Shuffleboard to clear the SmartDashboard tab of old debug statements and see new after a download. The tab Preferences Autopopulate switch is On. The tab now clears but doesn’t repopulate.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- .Download code with some SmartDashboard.puts in it
- ...Check they show
- Select File New
- Check if the tab repopulates
Expected behavior
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.
SmartDashboard tab repopulates. Have to close and restart Shuffleboard currently

- WPILib Version: 2023.3.2 but there earlier - not sure how early
- OS: Win 11 but 10 also
- Java version per wpilib install
