Q: Does volunteering get you a free ticket?
A: Nope. But the Grants program can! We're a community-run conference and ask that our community members volunteer their time to help us make PyCascades the awesome event that it is. Instead of trading volunteer hours for the ticket fee, we allocate a significant portion of our budget to the Grants program, so that anyone who can't afford the ticket price doesn't have to miss part of the program to cover the cost.
