Prompts to clear player queue appear on full screen toggle

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Play a video
2. Switch to full screen
3. Observe
4. Switch to portrait
5. Observe

Expected behavior

No prompt when it's the same video, just a different rotation.

Actual behavior

"The active player queue will be replaced" prompt appears as you switch from portrait to landscape (full screen)

Additional information

I have my screen orientation locked (I see the button to go fullscreen). Haven't tested with auto-rotate. I don't experience the same behaviour as #228 that I'm unable to exit the fullscreen. May be related though.

I am also observing this same behaviour can't watch different videos without closing the app full

I'm having this behavior as well, with auto-rotate ON (Pixel 6A with GrapheneOS).
Clicking on "cancel" does nothing, "OK" resets the video back to when I started watching it.
Nothing too annoying but I think we can do without it 😅

Interesting. I couldn't reproduce, maybe I am skipping a step? Could you please test with NewPipe Nightly version if this version also has this problem?

Interesting, sorry for deleting the original replies, but you were right, it is a regression that's not reproducible on the release NewPipe (0.27.7) but is reproducible with the nightly build of vanilla NewPipe you linked.

I am still able to reproduce the issue on version 0.27.7 (F-droid edition), open any video and play in full screen come back it throws the error (the auto rotate been Off its a continues loop until either app closed or Auto rotate turned on on system level)

Build 1030 works (no prompt) build 1031 caused the regression

Seems like a setting with player causing this for me, I tried the linked New pipe app and default settings didn't caused this issue. Then I imported my DB and settings the same app started giving same Tubular app error
