This repository contains XML files that transcribe election returns from the early American republic. These XML files were created by the New Nation Votes project. They are presented here unmodified from the versions provided by that project. These files are hosted by the Mapping Early American Elections project at the Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media.
