Release 2026.02.28 — The Canonical Guard Alignment

This major release resolves the most critical architectural debt within the arifOS ecosystem, specifically addressing the "dual implementation drift" between the core constitutional kernel and the aclip_cai sensory layer. The AAA MCP tool surface is now strictly boundary-enforced and purely grounded in the canonical 13-tool contract.

🏛️ Core Architectural Alignments (Resolving Dual Drift)

  • Single Source of Truth for Floors: Deprecated aclip_cai/core/floor_audit.py. It is now a forwarding stub to core.shared.floors, ensuring that both sensory processing and core cognition evaluate against the exact same constitutional mathematical bounds.
  • F6 Empathy Reconciliation: Synchronized the F6 Empathy threshold globally to 0.70 (SOFT) to match the canonical specification.
  • Unified Init Sequence: Eliminated init_000_anchor.py legacy code from the AAA MCP adapters. InitEngine now routes directly to the hardened core.organs._0_init.init airlock.

🛡️ Guard Mechanics & Governance Enforcement

  • Strict Injection & Ontology Enforcement: Removed weak text-based heuristics from the arifos_aaa_mcp governance layer.
    • F12 Defense is now natively bounded by scan_for_injection from core physics.
    • F10 Ontology is now rigidly guarded by detect_literalism.
  • Isolated 13-Tool Canonical Surface: The aaa_mcp.server instance is now securely isolated. It strictly exposes the 13 canonical tools (e.g., anchor_session, reason_mind, apex_judge, seal_vault) without "leaking" internal aclip_cai triad utilities.

🧹 Housekeeping & Entropy Reduction

  • Dead Code Purge: Deleted 5 abandoned modules from arifos_aaa_mcp/fastmcp_ext/ (contracts.py, dependencies.py, middleware.py, server_surface.py, telemetry.py) to reduce context bloat and lower system entropy (ΔS).
  • README Hardening: Completely rewrote the root README.md to serve as a focused, 60-second entry point, while pushing deep architectural theory and security definitions into ARCHITECTURE.md and SECURITY.md.
