Expected behavior

The video displays, along with its title, description and comments (if comments are selected in the settings).

Actual behavior

The video displays, but the description doesn't.

IIRC a collapsed version of the description used to be displayed before the comments when you clicked the "more info" drop down at the end of the title.

@ravibee I'm not sure I remember such behavior. Since the description is explicitly a separate tab; I remember there being some discussion in the past about this to improve our UX and have it to be more like official YT in that description is at the top and not a separate tab; so I don't think description has ever been visible outside of that tab.

I could be wrong, though. If you say this is a regression, do you know which version has said functionality? Cus I am using an older version right now and I can't see it.

Hmm... I distinctly remember the description appearing when I tapped the "more" vertical chevron. In fact, I didn't notice the dedicated description tab until you mentioned it in your comment. :)

I think it's fair to close this bug as "user error - will not fix" because the description tab provides the same function and is in fact an improvement over the previous behavior that I remember. Thanks.
