Hello and thank you for your great work on the OpenStreetMap plugin.
I would like to request a new feature related to how the map behaves when users perform a search in Piwigo.
Currently, when a user searches for photos (using keywords, tags, dates, or any built‑in search), the gallery correctly displays the filtered results. However, the OpenStreetMap view still shows all geotagged photos from the entire gallery, regardless of the search results.
This can be confusing for users, because the map does not reflect the same subset of photos that appears in the search results.
Requested feature
Add an option allowing the map to display only the geotagged photos included in the current view, such as:
- Search results
- Filtered lists (tags, author, date, etc.)
- Batch selection
In other words, the map should be able to dynamically adapt to the list of photos currently being displayed by Piwigo.
Thank you for considering this improvement — it would greatly enhance the user experience for galleries using geolocation features.
Best regards.
Julie
